MIDDLE GRADE NOVELS
Currently working on HAPPY MEDIUM. Think Spiritualism gone bad and a girl named Happy who will set it right even if it means making friends with her arch enemy (aka super nasty bully girl).
I have more, but that's the one taking over most of my story brain right now.
Society of Children Book Writers and Illustrators (belonged and learned much from being a part of this organization for a long time. Regularly attend the Western Washington SCBWI Annual Conference. Midsized con that draws some of the best industry professionals in the world of reading and writing for children and teens).
Bookshelf Muse (this resource is chock full of information for writers and the home of Writer's Thesaurus one of my go to resources for adding depth to my writing)
Query Tracker (the blog and site are a must have and read for searching editors and agents and learning the ins, outs, do's and don't's of writing.)
Guide to Literary Agents Blog (I particularly enjoy the interviews with agents)
Verla Kay's Childrens Writers & Illustrators Board (One of the best forums for writing for children and young adults. Filled with knowledgeable authors, writers, agents, editors working on and talking about the craft of writing, finding an agent, finding and editor, information on submissions. The list really is endless. And the support you receive from your peers on this site is AWESOME.)
This page is a work-in-progress, much yet to be done. Check back soon.
